This is why you should see "Get Me Roger Stone" doc.

He is responsible for the dark side of the Republican Party since Nixon. I had no idea how deep his influence was.

He is very very smart, very very effective, was one of the first to twist the laws about using PACs.

Added bonus...the commentary by Paul Manafort, who worked with him for decades.

Not really the clown-ish character that I thought I was seeing. Well, yeah, a show off, but has had, still has deep influence in Repub. politics.

Happily, his connection to Trump's campaign via Manafort is gonna get him nailed.

That he and others have gotten away with their shit for so long.

His personality worked my last nerve. Which didn't help any.

He's not only been a sleazy lobbyist and dirty trickster, as of late he's been working for Alex Jones, the white nationalist con artist. The only redeeming quality I saw in Roger Stone was his support for gay rights, but I think he has some selfish reasons for that. I hope he spends the rest of his life in prison.

Stone is very much a Cohn copycat. Cohn was connected to Nixon.

According to several bios of Trump, he learned legal dirty tricks from Roy Cohn, was friends with him for over 20 years, as in daily conversations, meetings, hanging out, etc.
When Cohn came down with Aids, Trump dropped him cold, instantly, denied ever knowing him, etc.

I think Roger takes credit for things that he either wasn’t involved with at all or was involved in an ancillary role. He has always seemed like the kind of guy who was in love with the smell of his own bullshit, and have read where some GOP folks who see him in a very similar light. I think he’s a “legend in his own mind” type of guy.
