Hillary and Bill Clinton made a stir tonight at the Broadway adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird. The former President and First Lady received a warm welcome from the sold-out crowd as they took their seats. See video below!
Based on an event that occurred in Alabama in the 1930s, Harper Lee's enduring story of racial injustice and the destruction of childhood innocence centers on one of the most beloved and admired characters in American literature, the small-town lawyer Atticus Finch.
Jeff Daniels leads a cast which includes Celia Keenan-Bolger, Will Pullen, Gideon Glick, Frederick Weller, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Stark Sands, Dakin Matthews, Erin Wilhelmi, Phyllis Somerville, Liv Rooth, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Danny Wolohan, and Neal Huff.

(15,569 posts)It's the best revenge against all their haters. Probably drives the haters bonkers that nothing the GOP right wingers' plots and plans set out to do stuck. The Clintons are more popular than ever and still together and in demand on the speakers circuit.
The haters that are Trump supporters (aka MAGAts) will never be able to say that about Malaria and Orange Anusmouth.

I also applaud their continued efforts to help elect Democrats by doing everything that is asked of them while seeking neither the spotlight nor public accolades.
I love the Clintons and I'm so pleased that most Americans love the Clintons. Bill's presidency was the most peaceful and prosperous in generations.

(9,426 posts)fans of anything with any kind of "class" attached. Low life grifters. I remember reading that tRump once told Howard Stern on his radio show that when he walks into a restaurant with Maleria "grown men cry"!!! Probably crying from laughing so hard. He thought he got a prize, when many well heeled NY men had already "booked her for an evening" What a pair! The Clintons have more class than tRumps, despite not being born into wealth.
