I heard one estimate was $750 million and even that wasn't enough. They are fucked for the foreseeable future.

The only reason why the water in Flint isn't clean is because the powers that be choose not to do so. Money for more war in Syria and Yemen - no problem. Money for Goldman Sachs - how much you need? Taxes we don't collect from Amazon and Netflix and Exxon - don't worry about it.

Money to provide clean, safe, drinking water for our people - now hold on. This is going to cost a lot of money. And I hold our Congress to blame for this. Sadly, the democrats dropped the ball too. How many have been prosecuted for what they did to Flint Michigan? There are something like over 4000 communities in the USA that have similar or higher levels of lead in their water supplies. How about a jobs program employing local people to fix their water systems?

Trillions spent in Iraq to destroy a country and kill its people when they had nothing to do with 9/11 and posed zero threat to us.

Poor Michael Moore. His hometown. A life dedicated to shining a light into dark corners with little good to come from it.

America's shame.

Flint water with them on the campaign trail. Then they need to call out their opponent on whether municipal drinking water is an emergency or not. Then offer them a drink.

I don't think I got the scenario quite right but you get the idea.

A: Because the already obscenely wealthy exploit the problems, not the solutions.
