Clearly Roger Stone wants to paint himself a political prisoner and create a circus trial atmosphere

In his little ego infested pointy head, I think he wants to paint himself as the right wing version of Abbie Hoffman.

It's why I think he tipped off CNN about his own imminent arrest and then had the audacity to claim they were tipped off.

It's also why he wore a "Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong" the morning of his arrest and made sure his home surveillance cameras got a shot of that.

And now he's basically daring the judge to revoke bail so we end up with lots of courtroom sketches of poor Roger Stone in a jail jumpsuit.

It's not going to work. He'll be lucky if he doesn't get a new charge of threatening a federal judge as a result of this latest stunt.

He's a stupid man and his hubris will be his downfall. Karma is already catching up to him and it won't stop until he's stuck in Supermax in a cell next to El Chapo's.

that is how his brain is organized so it will come naturally. He is the creator of the "deep state" meme, even before trump. I am sure he is very pleased to find himself at the center of one of his conspiracies as his fortunes have collapsed over the last decades.

As with other conspiracy theorists, he ended up creating his own conspiracy so he will go out in a blaze of glory - not the marginal player he really was.
