(28,348 posts)Trump is the purest narcissist I think we've ever seen in public life. He is pathologically incapable, disabled if you will, from many parts of what we consider the normal human existence. In his universe, there is only the existence of him, and endless, unquenchable want.
You are probably more capable of genuine empathy for a stuffed animal or a tree than he is for actual humans. He has no capability to understand the existence of "not him." So all humans, including his progeny even, are objects. He cares for them only in the sense that he is Trump and they wear his name, so they must be packaged and promoted as great things because Trump.
Miller, on the other hand, seems more like a genuine sadist. He is mindfully, intentionally cruel. The kind who would be an unattractive Ted Bundy or BTK in another life, had he not been granted power. Now he is able to enact cruelty on a much larger scale in a way that doesn't endanger himself. I would be willing to place a fair bet that Miller has tortured animals, in his past or even now.
Trump does more damage, but Miller is just plain evil to his rotten little insides.

(86,963 posts)However, one could argue that once the spell is broken and his enablers are cast down, he could just turn into some grouchy old POS scuffling around in a prison cell with no makeup.

(52,503 posts)shrub and the evil dick talked a lot about their version of the "unitary executive" theory, in which the president (when republican, anyway) had absolute authority over every aspect of the executive branch, even though the constitution gives congress checks and balances, such as confirming senior officials of the executive branch (cabinet members, in particular).
donnie's dictatorial aspirations aren't an anomaly for the republican party. he's merely the latest and the least subtle about it.

(52,503 posts)they didn't use the more overtly dictatorial rhetoric that donnie prefers.
nevertheless, they certainly railed against "activist judges", i.e., any judge who wrote a decision that stopped them from doing whatever they wanted to do.

The Judiciary is tilted enough already; don't need to give the treasonous bastards more time to do further damage.
