GOP Governor slams Trump for his trade war that is crippling her state: He's 'driving a lot of...

....family businesses out of business’

In an interview with Politico, GOP Gov. Kristi Noem (SD) took a shot at President Donald Trump for starting a trade war with China that is devastating farmers in her state.

According to the Republican governor, agriculture is a major part of her state’s economy, and the farmers are hurting with many feeling they will lose their family farms.

“South Dakota has been devastated by the trade wars that are going on,” Noem explained adding that the woes of farmers affect “every main street business, everybody that has another entity out there that relies on a successful ag industry.”

“I have consistently been an advocate for wrapping up these trade discussions and making sure we’re getting access to better markets,” she continued, before adding, “The problem is that this has gone on now for a long period of time.”

WTF did she and her ilk expect exactly? They support the idiot that thinks trade wars are a good thing...... and then whine when it bites them in the arse. My sympathy is literally non existent

South Dakota (disclaimer: My home state) is so fucking ass-backwards now that they'd ban fire for being too progressive if they could.

Your party is shit. Your policies are shit. And you are shit, too.

I might be a little bit bitter since South Dakota replaced a good senator (Tom Daschle) who wrote or co-wrote over 600 bills which became law to help the state with John Thune, who sat his ass in the House for at least four years and did nothing.

My home state sucks.

The only problem is the 7.7 billion in taxpayer dollars farmers received to offset the effects of the tariffs. It insulates them from the consequences of their stupidity.

Facebook idiots that are friends of a friend of mine have this comeback with "haters are always gonna hate". Just what the fook does that even mean? Ugly, nasty, negative, sour people are always going to be ugly and sour? Maybe. But it sure as hell doesn't mean people who are sick and tired of this lying, treasonous sack of con artist rotten shit are "haters who are always gonna hate".

Reminds me of "that's what you are, what I am" when we were 8 years old.

NOW are Republicans beginning to understand that Trump doesn't CARE about the "common people"? He cares about the moneyed class and large corporations. I guarantee his viewpoint of the small farmer would be, "So what? A large corporate agricultural company can pick up that business and do it more efficiently." The common people can make adjustments until they find something else to do for a living.

They got what she and her state WILL AGAIN vote for.

So, Governor, shut up and join the beggars at Times Square or in DC on the Capitol Steps during tourist season if you're hungry.

If South Dakota wants different treatment from Washington, no one is stopping them from voting for a party and a candidate who will treat them differently. As long as they continue to vote for Republicans, the people of South Dakota have no business complaining when those Republicans do exactly what they said they would do if elected.

Please note that I am NOT applying this to any Lakota or other native Americans, whose people were there long before the ancestors of these Anglo idiots showed up.
