(3,011 posts)It shaped them. I am so grateful. It is a tragedy that parents have to try to encourage those virtues (that are often harder to do) in a world where the evil appears to win. Young people can't always see the big picture, and I remember leaning on Obama's leadership many times when I wanted a real life example of a virtuous man.
