We hear that he is ramming through massive amounts of judicial appointments but I want to know how many.
How many seats are there total?
What percentage are now RW activist judges?

(1,928 posts)The bulk of which are District court seats. The bigger concern is the Court of Appeals seats. There are 179 of them. 30 have been confirmed under Trump. Another dozen or so are waiting on confirmation. If all get approved, Trump would have appointed nearly a 1/4 of the Judges on the Court of Appeals. Even worse is SCOTUS. He has 2 so far obviously. He could get 1 or 2 more by 2021.

(1,823 posts)and rightfully so. But what flew under the radar was how McConnell also held up close to 30 federal level judicial appointments that Obama made as well. These were wide open when Trump took office and were quickly rammed through shortly after. I dont know any of the nominees trump put forward, but seeing his Supreme Court picks, I can only imagine they're far right judicial activists.
