I can understand Trump's defense. Now, it all makes sense.

Trump says that he believed Vladimir Putin when he said that he didn't interfere in the 2016 election. After all, he denied it and Trump believes him. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia did not kill Khashoggi. After all, he denied it and Trump believes him. Now, Kim Jong Un told Trump that he didn't know anything about Otto Warmbeier's death. After all, he denied it and Trump believes him.

Why can't we all believe that Trump is innocent of any crimes? After all, he denies them and we should believe him.

I thought that he was just repeating things over and over because it kept his minions in line - and it worked. But after Cohen's testimony yesterday, it now seems to be the mob way of giving orders without giving orders.
