Do not despair...I even had someone on this site tell me that if am feeling anxiety perhaps I should step away...NO - I will not step away//if we do then they win...VOTE..

Just like their predecessors before them, the nazis, there just aren't enough of them on the right to rule the much greater population, not for long at least. They should remember that the only power they have is what we give them. If they throw out the rule of law they will discover that they've also thrown out their only shield against the wrath of millions.

That so many Americans support this overtly fascist administration is more than sobering. I used to have some trust in my fellow citizens, and believed that if something (or someone) genuinely bad for democracy came along, partisanship would take a back seat to salvaging our republic.

I have no such illusions any longer.
