sometimes the courts agree with the "executive privledge" argument, sometimes they don't.

...will Trump give it to him.
One of Trump's story lines is that he's been completely transparent and fully cooperative, pointing out that he's never claimed exec privilege. That story goes down the drain and sets up Watergate 2.0...not kinda sorta like Watergate but exactly like Watergate.
Nixon claims exec privilege over the tapes and loses 8-0 with the Supremes.
I'm betting that Roberts won't want his legacy being overtuning the Watergate precedents. Roe v Wade...yeah, they'll talk...but Watergate...I'm not so sure of that.
