Where are they coming from? They have to come from somewhere. Who's writing this legislation and who is ponying up the dough to get them signed into law? I feel like we need to have this discussion. They're all very similar in nature, so some conservative think tank is the one who is writing these. Another situation where if we follow the money we shall know the truth.

(14,863 posts)Most of them have been indoctrinated since early childhood to interpret the book a certain way. That interpretation gets reinforced every time they go to church. If they're doing it wrong, that may make them bad Christians, but it doesn't make them non-Christians.

(17,984 posts)You make a good point. I would also like to know how old they are. Doesn't it seem like they had them all ready to go at once, no preparation needed? This has been in the works for a long time, and that makes it very dangerous.
