3. Ive begun to wonder

If Nancy, Chuck, Adam and others already know that "more" is going to break with the tax/financial stuff and once that comes out there will be essentially no way to argue *against* impeachment and the (R)'s will understand he is looking at clear felonies and will have to eventually capitulate and make him resign for a pardon. With what has happened in the past two days, I can't help but wonder they know its about to get much worse for Trump and much harder for the GOP to defend him.

Hopefully we can get a resignation and not go through impeachment. Either way there is more ugly stuff to come, that's for sure.

They know way more than they're saying.

it's not unusual for information to come to them that they can't yet reveal for various reasons. For example, they may have been provided information or documents they can't disclose right now in order to protect whistleblower, but they have other ways of getting the information out "cleanly."

That's one of the reasons I keep pushing back on people who think they know what the Speaker and other Democratic leaders should do since they have no idea how much the leadership knows that they don't.

As they say in Italian, "piano, piano ..."

frustration knowing many we need to vote might be turned off by that.

But she may have a trick up her sleeve.

I dont EXCUSE people who would not vote if we dont impeach, understand, I just know some wont because they are not able to see the big picture and are immature politically.

will not find him guilty and thus he can run in 2020 on being exonerated. The Speaker knows this as well and is not allowing her caucus to fall into that trap of doing it NOW.

She wants the investigations, hearings, subpoenas and favorable court rulings for documents that will further expose trump's crimes, financial and otherwise, to block-by-block build the case against trump that the repugs and public will realize trump has to go. Thus her call this morning for trump's family and staff to stage an interventionm much like Goldwater and others did against Nixon, thus forestalling an impeachment.

She's taking this position despite the clamoring of many Dems who haven't yet grasped the big picture and want to move too quickly to impeachment and thus fall into trump's trap.

20 Republicans in the Senate will never vote to remove him. Impeachment is needed to lay out to the public just how criminal and corrupt him and his administration are, and show that Republicans are actively protecting a criminal.
