From the article:
Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA), a swing district House Democrat, said that the calls to her office have shifted toward supporting impeaching Trump....
Rep. Hill is not the only member of the House from a swing district who is seeing opinion shift on impeachment. If it is happening to Katie Hill, it is happening in other districts right now....
House Democrats need to build a case, not to the hardcore political junkies who have read the Mueller report and watch cable news, but to the broader public who vote every four years but dont pay that much attention until election time.

We see that voters are leaning more toward impeachment than even one month ago.
If the House were to begin an impeachment investigation, with televised hearings to present evidence from the Mueller Report, and interview witnesses, one can safely assume that support for impeachment would grow even more.
And even if the enablers in the GOP refuse to do their duty, the voters can see what should be done.

Just as Trump's open racism appeals to a percentage of his voters.

(51,675 posts)as a "tv personality" he knows how much of a negative impact it will be on the overall public. He doesn't want impeachment. It would damage him in the history books and that really agitates him. Sam Nunberg knows the fucking moron and he said this on MSNBC just now. It isn't even about his precious "brand" but how he will be remembered. His enormous ego is what rules him.

Trump is also a victim here. A victim of his own extreme stupidity.
