several Kansas City TV stations. There is apparently a tornado on the ground and moving across the area.

I will say that the weather guys on the KC tv stations are all amazingly good. I used to live in Overland Park and know most of them.

attended KU, lived in Lenexa after college Spent summers at the Ag Hall of Fame doing demonstrations in Bonner Spings...

it breaks my heart to hear many of the places from my past are now threatened by massive tornadoes.

I remember the "mile wide" tornado that struck Topeka and destroyed a huge swath of that city in 1966

Early reports say the tornado was a mile wide.

I'm currently watching and listening to Channel 5. https://www.kctv5.com/

Although any local station doing live streaming will be doing an excellent job. They always do.

Hell of a couple weeks. Reminds me of the '74 outbreak. We were spared the worst. Xenia Ohio and a lot of other places weren't. As a kid, I became very acquainted with our interior bathroom those couple of nights.

I say almost because there is one person living there I know who deserves to have his house crushed by severe weather. If his property was destroyed by the heavens, it would be karmic justice in action.
