General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWe just came out of our basement in Lawrence, Kansas.
A catastrophic, meteorologist's description, tornado came through our area. Our house is fine, but have no idea how the rest of the area is doing.

it breaks my heart to hear many of the places from my past are now threatened by massive tornadoes.
I remember the "mile wide" tornado that struck Topeka and destroyed a huge swath of that city in 1966
