(25,931 posts)A while back I discovered that whenever there was some kind of breaking news, such as these Kansas City area tornadoes, all I have to do is Google TV stations that city. At least one of them, often all of them, will go to live coverage. And, depending on the story, even though the national networks might be covering the story, the local coverage is always good. One station might be better than another, and you can use your own judgement. But I get much more from watching the local coverage from the national version.
So do keep this is mind: Google TV stations in the city nearest the event, and you won't go wrong.
