We were right, damn it. Not bragging 'cause it was not at all difficult. We knew, you see,

that Trump was almost as qualified to be POTUS as he was to dance ballet. Frankly, we put those who claim that they are just now coming to understand how totally unfit this man-baby is to be leader of the free world into two categories: the truly stupid and the soulless birds of a feather who have coldly calculated that his days are numbered.

"I didn't know---" "I never realized---" "I was just doing my job---"

We've heard this all before, but it was more impressive in the original German.

We were right back when we were "alarmists". We were right back when we were "sore losers"; when we were just "liberal snowflakes" who "hated America". And, we are right now; now that we are once again just Americans with a little common sense and just enough backbone to get downright incensed when our leaders piss on our shoes and tell us it is raining.

Here's hoping 2020 is a better year than the past three.

Hasn’t done a single thing to make us think otherwise.

It was all so in-your-face all the time, it would be hard to believe otherwise.

Your salvo represents the heart and soul of the template for a thousand editorials in newspapers across this land--especially small, rural tracts whose readerships need a WAKE UP call.

Those folks don't read DU. At present we preach to our choir. I say we gotta take it to them. Thoughts?

Excellent post!

to 'seriously dis-informed', which is less demeaning than stupid (which I totally agree with btw).
Could you/would you allow this to be copied and sent by the hundreds as previously mentioned upthread by slumcamper
as LTE's to local papers in big and small cities?

Very well said btw, save that one term imho.
Maybe even throw in some 'trickle down' snark.
