As we see headlines about whether Trump will avoid "his own Benghazi", we shouldn't forget that the original "Benghazi" was a cynical and absurd fraud, a particularly shameless effort to exploit the deaths of four Americans.

same thing happened in some form a dozen times during Ws tenure (just part of having these outposts in these types of places) and needless to say Rs did not say a word, and frankly the Ds did not play politics with it either.

But, that this country time after time after time indulges republican fuck wittery like this is why we are where we are right now.

Russians have taken over three US bases in Syria and nothing more than a passing note in news updates - had this happened under a D potus they would have been forced to resign by now ... This shit storm in Iraq, same ...
