That was the reply sent by General Anthony McAuliffe to the German Army commander in WWII when they demanded his surrender. It shook the enemy and stoked the respect of his own men. It even became his nickname later. It goes down in history as one of the greatest lines ever spoken in war. It was a big FU to a larger and better equipped enemy.
President Trump, when speaking to reporters, insisted that Iran would pay for their purported action in Baghdad. He said he would "hold Iran responsible" for the embassy attacks. The reply from Iran may go down as another quote of perseverance under attack. "You can't do a damn thing".
Trump's mouth got caught writing a check his ass can't cash. It's an election year, he's under impeachment, and congress (and likely the Senate) are not about to let him start another ME war. What's more, the jackass already tore up the nuclear arms deal and reinstated sanctions, so he can't even threaten that.
At least now we have the respect of the world, unlike under Obama. How's all that respect taste, Donald?
