The Republican Plan

First of all, Republicans do not give a crap about anything Trump has done or is alleged to have done.

Their plan is to end the impeachment trial as soon as possible. They do not want it to be drawn out.

They have made their decision to stick with Mr Trump no matter what evidence might come up.

They believe the longer it drags out, the more evidence will come out. That is why they want the trial over immediately.

They are willing to take their lumps now with an acquittal, rather than let the trial go on and on and then acquit.

They have made the decision to hold on to the coattails of Donald Trump, no matter what might come out in documents or witnesses.

They simply don't care.

The polling numbers show that the investigations have weakened Trump.

Today's Republican party is now a fucking cult.
As long as Moscow Mitch continues to bastardize decades of Senate procedure in order to install unqualified partisan hacks onto the federal judiciary, I don't see them backing away.
And as long as those shitheels remain a part of the federal judiciary, everyone is at risk.

VOTE, people! And insist that everyone you know does so, as well.

Now I have to go shopping and stock up on popcorn,chip, dip, sammiches and pizza. This thing is
