After Pardon for War Crimes, Fmr. Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher Becomes Right Wing Social Media

After Pardon for War Crimes, Fmr. Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher Becomes Right Wing Social Media Influencer & Brand Spokesperson

JERRY LAMBE JAN 1, 2020 5:20 PM

Eddie Gallagher, the former Navy SEAL who was convicted in July of posing for pictures with the dead body of a teenage ISIS fighter he had killed before receiving a controversialpardon from President Donald Trump, has recently embarked on a new career path as a social media influencer and spokesperson.

And Gallagher in turn has cashed in on his new national profile to become the newest conservative influencer, pushing various comsumer products to his 50,000 Instagram followers and started his own line of apparel called Salty Frog Gear.

Gallagher also created an online store where he and his wife sell shirts mocking the Navy SEALs who testified that Gallagher was “freaking evil” and a “psychopath,” calling them “mean girls.”

The Times reached out to Gallagher and his attorney Timothy Parlatore for comment on Wednesday’s report. In an email declining the request, Parlatore said Gallagher would only respond to inquiries from “legitimate journalists.”

“Chief Gallagher is happy to respond to inquiries by legitimate journalists looking to publish factual pieces, but has no time for propagandists who put out knowingly false statements masquerading as fact,” Parlatore wrote to the Times.

4. A loose end from Eddie's trial

As I recall, the military had a pretty good case against Gallagher on several counts, but it all went to heck in a handbasket when Cory Scott confessed to the murder that Gallagher was being tried for. Scott had been granted immunity in exchange for his pre-trial testimony that he saw Gallagher stab and kill a prisoner. Scott said after Gallagher stabbed the prisoner, he cut off the prisoner's breathing tube and let him suffocate. In Scott's opinion the prisoner could have survived.

My question is, whatever happened to Corey Scott? Did the prosecution give him blanket immunity, or was Scott's immunity conditioned on testifying at trial the way he had testified in pre-trial deposition?

don't worry about conducting yourself with honor and dignity, or serving your country with distinction. just go ahead and betray your fellow soldiers and violate the law! drumpf has got your back and will undermine the chain of command in your name to make sure the murderer is well taken care of. the rest of you soldiers? well, fuck you! if you want love from drumpf, go murder someone! learn to stand out in a crowd of honorable persons.

Lorance said in a tweet on Thursday that though he was pardoned and released from prison, a dishonorable discharge made it difficult to get a job "even at Walmart or Target."

Surely Donald could use such a man in his enterprises and support the troops he likes.

Donald certainly does not like POWs because they had been 'captured;.

They wrap themself in the flag, are jingoistic, they always mention the "biased" liberal media. There are code words that they simply can't avoid using, even with they desperately try.
