Trump's actions in Iran are fulfilling Bolton's (and other neo-cons') wet dreams to destroy that nation, take over their oil fields and "protect" Israel.

when has Bolton demonstrated that he has integrity? His resigning from his post was a CYA move and not one of integrity.

(7,339 posts)No honor amongst thieves. You think he'll feel obligated in any way to Trump now? Trump already took the action that set off the chain of events that Bolton desires. If anything, Bolton probably would want a rational and competent person executing what happens next.
Bolton loses nothing by testifying now. He's one of the only people in the world in a win-win position currently.

Bolton may want regime change in Iran, but if anyone can derail that goal it would be the incompetent Trump.

I'm sure he has rehearsed his answers.
