On Iran I told my wife we always stumble blindly into shit

How quick some people forget bush and invasion of Iraq. I not only today worry about our sons but your sons and daughters yes even magat voters children. In no way would Iran want a ground war. But what will it take to see us gearing up. A attack on a trump property or another soft target. I believe that it is coming forbid but in me I feel that Tehran won’t let this slide. Yes soleimami was responsible for our dead and wounded in Iraq Afghanistan so no tears shed.

Tell you how weird I think or have started to think. I saw a Muslim woman dressed as in head covering body covered. The other day in grocery store and she was with her children. I’m thinking I would not let her shop alone now if I was her husband. But then I searched her with my eyes why in instant. Looking for perhaps a bomb a bulge. I then felt foolish told myself knock it off.

We are trying to be sucked into a quagmire of shit. Sure as a military we’re great rolling moving to contact we did it in Iraq invasion. But then we stopped and dug in and built bases then we become targets. And as all of us I am pissed and sickened I tried go no news today but my wife has it on. I am venting

My wife and I have had several talks about what her world is going to be like. This place is literally on fire, that's my main concern. Longer term. She's going to live in a world with massive population movement and death.

I hate that her age will be one of fear and the necessary bad decisions that come with it.

But we don’t know where we’ve been
And we know what we're knowing
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Yeah

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Taking that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
I'm feeling okay this morning
And you know
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go...

(A song that has aged quite well.)
