Putin said it was not a smart move, the Saudis are in DC trying to deescalate it, Bibi said Israel has nothing to do with it, out NATO allies are against it, Iraq is pissed off, etc. Which countries are left, N Korea and Turkey?

It was a smart move, for Putin and Russia, because it puts the US in the spotlight and diverts attention from continuing Russian interference in the upcoming elections.
