Will Speaker Pelosi turn the Articles of Impeachment over to the Senate today?

She may be more inclined to turn them over since Chairman Schiff said he had no intent on calling John Bolton as a witness? He had reasoned that if Bolton testified for the House, then he would not be as effective in testifying before the Senate. Also, Schiff will probably be a big part of the House Managers operation? Probably a wise decision not to have Bolton testify for the House.

In my opinion, she may wait a few more days. She would like to see how the Senate votes on the War Powers Resolution, I would think?

It seems unlikely she will turn the Articles over unless she feels there is going to be a "fair" trial, with evidence and witnesses. But with Bolton and Schiff off the agenda, the issue of a "fair trial" is about all that is left.

She will need to name the Managers and give them some time to prepare. I would not be surprised to see a couple of Republican defenders from the House hearings at the trial, also. (Perhaps Collins and Nunes) Especially if Trump requests it.

It would be good to know the rules and how the trial is going to be handled? These are decisions the Speaker will have to make.

She will do so when the Senate has made clear the rules and the “Arena”.

I don’t think you will see it go over until at the earliest in a month from now - after the SOTU

I don't think there is any political loss in holding the Articles. That is an unfounded fear of some Democrats, I think?

Pelosi knows exactly what she is doing and she has no reason or need to send them over until she determines to do so.

Democrats should not worry.

It depends on what Mitch McConnell is up to over in the Senate. She has the Articles in hand, and can drop them in the Senate at the most opportune moment. It will be soon, though, as she stated. Soon, however, is a flexible timeframe.

She could send them over today, to dominate the weekend news, or she could wait until next week, and throw a wrench into Moscow Mitch's schedule.

She'll decide - strategically.

The festering in the WH and R Senate is doing all the work for us. Like good sauerkraut it takes time. What;s happening right now is that some are finding out about how blatant the coverup is and that part of the plan is to dismantle Congress. What worried Rand Paul and Mike Lee is that they saw the writing on the wall that showed them losing their jobs once Congress is dismantled and that their gravy train is derailed...

What is happening now is the exposure, by the perps, of their coverup crimes currently in progress. Let's not stop them for doing most of the heavy lifting here.

We may have to wait until we flip the Senate which means we damned well better flip the Senate and the WH.
