Rachel went there last night. (Ukranian downed passenger jet)

she says if it wan't for trump/u.s. military strike on Iran that that plane wouldn't have been hit.

So what I heard was trump is responsible for the deaths of 176 civilians.

Glad Rachel helped shine a light on the cause and effect (because I agree with the reasoning), but so very painful to see the loss for so many families.

...so, one day, just for the Hell of it, you decide to toss a brick through his living room window in the dead of the night. He panics, starts firing wildly out his window, hits someone, and they die.

If you're a rightwinger, you say, "wasn't my fault. I didn't do it. Besides, he deserved a brick thrown through his window."

SH: Would the U.S. mind if I invaded Kuwait?

AG: No, we would consider it an Arab vs Arab issue; we have no interest in it.

Iran (or Russia) shooting down a Ukrainian airliner stems from that. The connection is convoluted, but Rachel can handle convoluted connections.

Everything is connected to everything else

However, in the real world where we live day-to-day, we tend to determine connections more temporally and spacially. By those criteria, Trump is directly and indisputably the most relevant cause of that downed airline.

Sort of like she wanted to make sure every one understood what she was saying, like she didn't leave any doubt of the culpability of the creature. The creature has its little hands full of blood, for a while now, I am sure he new MSB was going to murder the Washington Post journalist in Turkey.

beyond her regular viewers would see and hear it.

I, too, am suspicious about Trump's prior knowlwdgw of Kashoggi's murder. I have not seen any evidence and do not claim for certain that he knew. But I have thought that it is possible due to his hatred of WaPo, of journalists, of criticism, and of Muslims (except for Saudis). Not to mention his defense of Saudis when the murder was publicized.

I've given up on MSNBC for about a year. A lot of the good hosts are gone and it all repeats.

176 civilians. I'd rather be a do-nothing Democrat than a war criminal.

Now we're seeing Pompeo flat out lying in pressers. It's really come to this. They're all feeling invincible now. What will they do and lie about next? It's time to wake up!

this all goes back much further than thump's ignorance or April Glaspie's mis-step - even further back than the Shah or Western colonialism. Every country, every religion, and every tribe that sought to exploit and control this region through the ages is part of the equation and culpable for today's unrest.
"The Silk Roads: A New History of the World" by Peter Frankopan is a must read to get better understanding of how instrumental this part of the world has always been and more importantly how western-centric education has downplayed this history to our peril. I can't stress how enlightening this book was for me.

she shines a light on everything, but I really think Putin had a hand in this. It was a Russian missile for one. There were other flights that took off that morning, like the flight was #10. Why this flight??? Could it be because it was Ukrainian? And hasn't Putin shot down numerous civilian flights before???

Why is the crash scene being cleaned up?? To cover up evidence???
