I have a question about the Senate trial.

One of the articles of impeachment is obstruction of congress. Can the statement made by Moscow Mitch be attached to that article? Can it be added as evidence?

Moscow Mitch stated on TV he would work with Trump and obstruct Congress, obstruct justice in the trial. How can that not be evidence of obstruction? How can that be ignored?

These articles have already been voted, and no one has the authority to revise them (the House has the "sole power" to impeach).

I suppose the House Managers could try to present McConnell's statements as evidence, but good luck getting the Republicans to go along with that. Supposed the Chief Justice will decide what evidence is allowed or not, but any of his decisions can be overruled by a majority of the Senate.
