I have no issue with speaker Pelosi sending over the articles of impeachment next week

She has made her point very clear that witnesses should be called, and a trial needs to be held

Pushing impeachment in the middle of campaign season is a double edged sword, and will put other issues that need to be discussed on the back burner.

The ball is in McConnel’s court. if he refuses to have witnesses, or even a trial, that can and will be used against the republicans in the campaign, and I believe that will hurt them more than just leaving it in limbo

What do you do when the AG, Pres, VP, Scty State all work for Putin and are all traitors , killers and criminals?

And 45 million citizens want them to work with putin to remove or kill all non supporters, what can she do?

I dont think it matters anymore, the traitors will never obey the law, wont leave the WH etc.

Anyone who doesnt realize the deplorables WILL abide our executions if we wont leave peacefully, is NOT paying attention.

Ahh, but we are miles away from that kind of thing? Like miles away from world war or were we ONE move by dumbshit away from it 4 days ago...

or the issues we stand for, and how they contrast from the republicans who are slowly whittling away rights and freedoms that were fought for. Civil Rights, workers rights, environmental rights, healthcare, social security, Medicare, etc

If the entire campaign focus is distracted from those issues toward exclusively impeachment, I believe we will have lost a valuable opportunity to contrast ourselves with republicans on that

Send the articles over. If McConnel refuses to have a trial or call witnesses, that is another campaign issue against them

The Senate is what it is. The next Congress may be very different, but it will probably be looking at a new President, rather than Trump. The entire point of an impeachment and trial is to decide whether a President gets removed from office. Trump's term ends next January. The trial has to take place in 2020.

Bring it on! We'll all get to watch. Win or lose, we'll see Trump for what he is.

what the Legislative Calendar will produce. If the Articles hit the Senate Leaders Desk,it will be sometime after Thursday. Believe Action then would not happen until the 28th or 29th of the month.

Think about the Sentencing of a few of Trumps Campaign Criminals. Flynn on the 28th,Stone on or about the same time. Rendered Court Decisions are do in and about the same time dealing with Subpoenaed related Documents.

Polling seems to be telling us Dems we are in the sweet spot for keeping the House and regaining the Senate as well as the Oval. Plus,NYC is now chasing Trumps Tax avoidance Schemes.

Murdoch Media(Hannity)has personally threaten every Rethug Senator via posting their Phone Numbers. Interesting. Just another last ditch effort for the Crime Syndicate to cause more Examination of the underlying Evidence. Should be interesting after last nights Maddow calling the NY Times to task.

She was elected by the rest of the House, at least the Democrats in the House. Each of those House members was elected by the people of their districts. If they chose Nancy Pelosi to lead them there, then who am I to disagree with their choice?

I have a lot of opinions about politics and how things are done, but I'm not there. I'm not sitting in the House of Representatives. I don't have access to all of the information they have. So, I'm going to defer to those we have elected to do things in the best way for the circumstances.

Nancy Pelosi has demonstrated her leadership abilities many times. I'm counting on her to make the best decisions under the current circumstances.
