Shook me to my core.
I won't go into details...I'm not posting this to upset anyone.
The video was somewhat graphic, but not overly so. It was just profoundly sad.
I've seen everything there is to see on the internet, but this one killed me. I've been haunted since this morning.
I feel so goddamn helpless. So much bad shit happening.
Just getting this off my chest. Thanks.

(8,208 posts)3. The Australian fires have saddened me more than anything other than the deaths of loved ones.
No matter what I do, even if I look as if I'm happy, I've got a baseline of sadness and dread and anxiety that's ever present.

(36,540 posts)5. I kept the fires out of my mind, & then read about the baby whale
Who was severely injured, probably by a boat. I cried all day. Today I read a story about the fires. We have caused so much harm. It's hard not to be a misanthrope.
