Its not like he's a Trumpist Apparatchik. Or like he did anything wrong - plenty of rich, connected people sit on Director's Boards and collect fat checks for lending legitimacy to a corporation.

Look at the upright citizens that sat on Theranos' board:

Riley Bechtel, former Bechtel Group CEO
David Boies, a founder and the chairman of Boies Schiller Flexner
William Foege, former director CDC
Richard Kovacevich, former Wells Fargo CEO and chairman
James Mattis, later U.S. Secretary of Defense
Fabrizio Bonanni, former executive vice president of Amgen

Not to mention Kissinger and Schultz.

If Trump's lawyers call Hunter Biden, Schiff should call Joseph Cofer Black, Bush Jr's counter-terrorism director. He sits on the Burisma board right now.

Mitt wants to run for president again. I'm sure he'd like to be president, but I don'y think he or his family wants to endure another national campaign.

I agree 100% that he dislikes Trump, and holds him in contempt.

I just doubt how open this trial will be. There are choke points - who, how long, what they say, executive privilege - and that's just testimony. Then we'll hear executive privilege some more, none of it rose to the level of criminality, and even if it did, l'etat c'est moi.

Then Trump, will Trump make an appearance? That will be a drama festival all by itself.

Romney is not known for his firm spine. On more than one occasion he's said one thing and done another.

If 3 repukes vote for a secret ballot, Trump is toast.

According to Jeff Flake, 30 republicans would vote to convict if the ballot is secret.
