I Am Sorry Corey Booker You Are Dead Wrong - Republicans Must Be Destroyed - Period

I just watched your interview in Rachel. You said something like "it's not just about winning it is about how we win". In a perfect world you would be right. We live in 2020 America where 1/3 of our nation would kill a million children for a tiny speck of power. Where they think putting little kids in freezing cages is fine if they skin isn't white enough. Where they think ripping the babies from the arms of mothers fleeing for their lives is just fine.

Evil.

Yes we need to make a contrast. Don't call Republicans names, just constantly repeat THEY ARE PURE EVIL. They obviously work for Satan / Mammon. When a Republican does something right, give them credit though. I called McCain's office more than once and thanked him for not voting against my family. Heck his staff probably knew my voice. But now is now.

Donald Trump is their Orange Calf.

We are running against the devil.

We need to have some Democrats be "reasonable" and promote reasonable solutions. The other 90% of us need to beat Republicans into submission. Pound them relentlessly. No quarter. When they attack our families, and try to poison us, or take our health care, we need to fight with all we got, before we got nuthin'.

The Republican Party represents nothing but evil, greed, and lust for power at any cost. We need to take big huge badass guns to gunfights not poetry folks.

I am sorry Corey. You can be nice. I want an America that isn't burning to the ground, underwater, flattened, or bankrupt. I will fight for "my" America. Rich people can start paying taxes and corporate / billionaire cash will be removed from the body politic.

Just Do It.

It's our only path to freedom.

Our form of government has been called a number of terms — representative democracy, constitutional republic, federal republic.

That aside my main concern in my post above was a suggestion of violence toward Republicans. I really don’t want to see hatred lead to attacks against innocent people and that goes for all sides.

If we disagree with Republicans the first approach should be the ballot box. If we fail there perhaps we should examine our approach to see why and where we went wrong. Any form of violence should be the absolute last resort used only to resist a dictatorial government that is totally unresponsive to the wishes of its citizens.

internment camps?

Of course we should try our best to make the ballot box our first and best solution... But if we win at the ballot box, but they refuse to accept it, what is your proposal?

If there is violence, it will be started by them. And once the first shot is fired, all bets are off. You can sit on the sidelines and watch. I hope YOU can enjoy the camps. The rest of us may have a hard time with that.

camps. Sorry.

Any attempt to do that would lead to an armed uprising and the people in charge would be removed from power. I realize that many people here in the Democratic Party would love to see civilian owned firearms banned and confiscated but that might prove short sighted in the end.

I am not sure how Trump supporters will react if he loses. Obviously they will be upset but I really don’t see them losing their sanity. Most will simply realize that Trump was his own worst enemy and his obnoxious attitude, his enormous ego and his unpresidential behavior is what cost him the election.

I guess I have more faith in the citizens of our nation than you. We squabble a lot but we end up resolving our differences by utilizing our system of government to create change. Progress is often slow but it happens. This nation is much better today than when I was growing up in the 1950s and 60s.

Think of all the times Democrats won the presidency. Start with Barack Obama and work backward.

That's not how they did it.

#1, I don't think they can be destroyed. They have too much power and money.

But Booker made a bet that a message of reconciliation and kindness would appeal to Dem voters who are in deep despair. He was wrong, but I wish he was right.

Sure, some Obama-to-Trump voters need to hear a message of forgiveness for their utter fucking gullible, idiotic vote, but the primary voters need some red meat.
