When I was working industrial field service jobs on annual plant outages, many of the clean-up crews spoke Spanish only, usually with one leader guy that spoke English. And this was the nastiest, hot work you can imagine. They never complained about anything and amazed me how they all seemed happy all the time - even when covered with ash from head to toe.

Organized, hardworking, well-coordinated, cooperative with one another. I think we get the best of Mexico and Central America. People of very high character make it this far and have good survival skills.
