Jay Sekulow's email to John Dowd

In last night's release of Lev Parnas' materials, there is some truly shocking stuff.

Something a bit more subtle, but also extremely important, is the email from Trump's lawyer Jay Sekulow to Trump's former lawyer John Dowd. In this email, Sekulow tells Dowd that Trump has specifically consented to allowing Dowd to represent Parnas and Fruman (misspelled in the email). IMHO, this email is critical because it brings Parnas and Fruman next to Trump. (email is at the last page of the PDF at this link: https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/20200114_-_hpsci_transmittal_letter_to_hjc_-_new_evidence_attachment.pdf)

Think about this. The "President" of the United States is allowing his former lawyer to represent two people he claims he doesn't know who are involved in the Ukraine issues. There are a ton of questions that arise:

*What is the likelihood that Dowd was randomly selected by Parnas and Fruman? The chances are basically zero. I guess Giuliani is probably the common link.

*Why exactly did Dowd get picked, out of all the lawyers in the US, to represent these two? Is it so Trump can control Dowd and therefore the stories that Parnas and Fruman will tell?

*Why exactly is the "President" being asked about his former lawyer's representation of two people he claims not to know.

It seems to me that this email alone ties Parnas and Fruman directly to Trump (putting aside the pictures!) and it very likely suggests that Trump was trying to control Parnas and Fruman by allowing his former lawyer to represent them. Anyone who wanted to avoid even the slightest hint of a connection would have said no to Dowd's representing these two; instead, our Dear Leader said yes.

Others have clued into this, so nothing new here (eg,https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/trump-signed-off-on-attorney-for-arrested-giuliani-client-despite-claiming-not-to-know-him/ ).

However, the email is starkly clear that Trump knew all about Parnas and Fruman. It's shocking in its own right.

his phone and documents. Since Parnas has Bondy rather than Dowd as a lawyer, Trump's interests are not being protected, as one presumes they would be with Dowd.

you've got it all wrong! You see, you're thinking like an intelligent rational human being. You have to get with the program. None of this matters. Trump is great.(say it three times while you look in the mirror!) It's all just made up by the traitorous radical left to make the greatest president in U.S. history look bad. He's trying to make America great and they're just trying to tear him down because they can't get over the 2016 election. We have to stop asking questions about stuff like this and get down to answering important questions like why we have to flush our toilets 10 times.

There's a possibility that just reading this might make you bleed from your ears. If that happens, see a doctor.

He's clearly a person of interest and a central figure in this sordid story. Is it because they have his under surveillance still? Privileged attorney info?

I just can't wait till drumpf throws him under the bus and Rudy turns on him.
