I'm 6' 3" tall and both my weight and cholesterol are under 200.

During my year and a half on dialysis, I ate mostly meat (wasn't allowed dairy because the phosphorus would have shredded what was left of my kidney functions) because with the toxins in my blood being removed, so was the very important protein.

With the huge incision from my kidney/pancreas transplant this past September, I kept with mostly meat--and now dairy--for healing.

And still the cholesterol is healthy.

The caller shouldn't make generalizations. People aren't made with cookie cutters.
