One reason he didn't seem to take Hyde up on his offer is because he knew he would be a dead man. The killing of a US ambassador would be high profile.

His options if he got caught:

From the Russian POV he knew too much and windows would suddenly be very dangerous for him. From trump's POV he would be too dangerous and would be Epsteined in his jail cell. If that did not happen, he would get the death penalty.

Parnas figured out in a jailhouse meeting with his two tRump-appointed lawyers that they were actively working against him to keep him from getting out of jail on bail because they first wanted assurances that he wasn't going to rat out the Orange Turd.

Things got heated, Dowd was yelling at Parnas "like a drill seargent," shades of an Epstein-like death crossed his mind, & Parnas ultimately hit the panic button for the guards to come in and remove the lawyers.

The future movie version of all this shit could be spectacular if done right...no need to fictionalize anything, just weave together the facts.

Was Putin using the Russian mob to do surveillance for him and trump on the American Ambassador, and he was part of it? Then our intel people when they picked up hints that she could be murdered to then blame the corrupt Ukraine's and Democrats were behind it with their claims it was done by the crooked CIA or FBI. That's how Putin works. Trump also.
