in D.C. She thought there was a big turnout, but couldn't tell for sure from where she was. I am so proud of them

(131,240 posts)Thousands take to streets for 4th Womens March.
Women turned out from around the country during the fourth iteration of the Womens March, where thousands marched in downtown D.C. Saturday morning. Though an estimated 10,000 marchers attended it was a steep decrease from the first Womens March that took place the day after President Donald Trumps inauguration.
The latest pink-hatted protest opposing the current presidency kicked off at 11 a.m. Saturday.
A dusting of snow and frigid weather in D.C. did not seem to deter protesters as they packed Farragut Square to capacity before the march started.

(10,844 posts)I attended the first DC March. It was a profound experience.
It also gave me the opportunity to eyeball first-hand the so called hu-u-uge, historic crowd at Trump's inauguration; the crowd that wasn't. The Big Lie started on Day 1.
