If the shoe were on the others foot...?

...and it was a Democratic President in the same boat as Donald Trump. Totally and obviously unfit for office. Would it be an easy vote for Democrats to convict him?

I think not. It is not easy in partisan times to vote against the leader of your Party. In fact, there may be a lot of similarities? Partisanship is a strong bond in our society.

However, I think there would be many that would ask a Democratic President to step aside if he was impeached for the same charges as Donald Trump?

I cannot believe Democrats would go this far to threaten the existence of our democracy. It is treasonous.

I believe Democrats would stand up if the shoe were on the other foot.
