Moscow Mitch is just making a speach on the senate floor.... it isn't part of the official heaaring

He is taking advantage of live coverage to spew his spin. It isn't the official proceedings. Nobody is in the chamber.

It's unclear if schumer will get the same privilege, but unlikely.

This was actually scheduled to give time for all the Senators to be in place by 1:00 pm ET (i.e., "opening for Senate business" at 12:30 pm ET).
