during the Clinton impeachment. All I had was the radio (NPR was running it) and a couple of folks had those little battery-operated portable TVs.

(broadband) was only penetrating about 4% by 1999 and even in 2001, t-1 lines in businesses still were not going to get you streaming video.


You can imagine dozens of people surrounding that little tv. Wow...

Clinton’s didn’t require any subpoenas, as he was forthcoming.

as a staffer on the House Judiciary Committee back then. She ran for office and was on that committee as a congresswoman during the Clinton impeachment and is of course a senior member on that committee today. She even pre-dates ASS-ley working "in Congress" as he wasn't there until after Nixon left.

She went on further to read out the findings of the GAO that the OMB violated the law under the ICA (Impoundment Control Act).

There’s so much, really.

Lofgren is easy to listen to, and I’m struggling to type up notes. Is an excellent section to watch for the cliff notes of the many hours of House testimony.

Five bucks says Trump is on the phone from Switzerland saying that right now, because Patrick Philbin is speaking too slowly, too quietly, and his voice is shaking.
