First thought was that you were quoting tRump verbatim. That in itself is terrifying.

It was gross and disgusting and I spent most of the movie looking at the wall. tRump makes me react the same way.

IIRC Bob Guccione (Penthouse publisher) was exec. producer, provided a huge budget, and wanted it be all sexed up with beautiful women, including Penthouse "Pets", but the director wanted avant-garde grotesquery. Guccione fired him and (with no directorial experience, AFAIK) finished directing the film himself. The reviews were what you might call "mixed".

...but even they had to cut a scene--I won't say which one--for American TV...
