Per Jim Acosta:They're going to go after Joe.

If true they’re going to spend their time doubling down on the Bidens, not only showing contempt for the process but continuing the smear job.

The Democrats had better be ready to call this out again and again.

of voters who haven't made up their minds about impeachment or, more importantly, whether they'll vote for trump in 2020.

Biden should have said something like, "I'll be glad to present the truth on this matter; trump's abuse of power and tampering with our election process; trump's incompetence; . . . . . . . and stack my family and likely cabinet members up against trump's any day."

I had a similar opinion to you, but after hearing that Biden isn't a material witness to Trump's crime (or would likely to be judged so by Roberts), there can only be one reason for Trump wanting him to testify, and that's to spread the shit.

Besides, GOPers are bluffing. They don’t want to call Biden because he will set them straight. He’s played right into their bluff by saying he won’t testify.

This is where the Democrats must push back and refute their bullshit, and we should be able so ng PACs to refute these LIES

The fact that Trump sent Rudy to Ukraine to "investigate" - as opposed to actual law enforcement - gives away the game. I think even most low information voters can understand that point.

Over the next three days, if they throw what they have at Biden, Democrats have ample time to first defend Biden if as is very very likely the case, he did nothing wrong. In addition, they need to address the members of the Senate. All but the most junior knew Biden as one of the 100 Senators. They know that after 30 plus years in the Senate, he was still the poorest or one of the poorest members of the Senate. If he was corrupt, he was pretty inept at it!

In addition to that, if they spend all their time on the Bidens, Democrats need to point out that all of this has nothing to do with Trump's actions.

However, we will know very quickly if ANY of this garbage sticks at all. The first reaction to that should be to challenge it, but failing that -- he is not yet the nominee. I think Biden will come out clean on this. It will say a lot if some of the older Senators, who likely socialized with Biden are so scared by Trump they don't object.

This will be the Trump team's public face. They are worse in private. They are talking to republicans about who, on the Democratic team prosecuting the case, has ever voted against a "defense" bill in the past, as if that is somehow proof Trump is not guilty.

These people have no shame.
