The whole “overturning an election” argument is such utter BS. When people go to vote they’re not voting for someone to then go in and do whatever the hell they want. There are likely many people that voted for trump that have since walked away from that. By the Republicans logic a president can do whatever they want cause they were voted in

What he (and Putin) wanted done. We have a way to remove HIM from the office. To my knowledge, however, there is no way at this point to undo all the harm he has caused. Even if things were restored to exactly where they were at the end of Obama’s term, there is much harm done by tRump that can’t be undone. Especially the corrosive effect on the people of this country.

So even if he is convicted by the Senate AND removed, the 2016 election still stands. It will take from now until dooms day to try to repair his damage, but he still served in the office. Sadly. So their argument is total nonsense. In other words, BS.
