If I was in his position, I would not want my name attached to a sham trial.

The verdict may be preordained but the process is still in his hands somewhat.

Remember this, the biggest impediment to Republicans doing the right thing is the backlash of the Trump voters. Roberts doesn't ever face a ballot box again.

Why would a DC District court have any jurisdiction over CJ Roberts and the impeachment trial? I thought Tribe was better than this?
