So four days after Bolton sent his manuscript to the WH, tRump assassinated Soleimani

No eminent threat from Soleimani, but with the damning revelations of Bolton's knowledge of tRump-Ukraine Quid Pro Quo, bribery, and extortion, was tRump motivated to perform the assassination ASAP in order to appease Bolton, in hopes he'd be so pleased with such news he wouldn't testify before congress? I mean, the timing is almost within hours. The WH takes a day to read and find damning details, tRump dreams up an assassination plot to please Mr. I-Hate-Iran-Bolton, the operation goes into affect.

Did Bolton have a personal grudge against Soleimani?

Maybe not "personal" but this WH obviously has a hit list that Bolton probably had a lot to do with compiling. Soleimani may have been at the top of that list to the extent that the WH was tracking his movements.

Appeasement would be a good bet. Another quid pro quo.
