To me it feels like the impeachment is doing some serious damage to Trump

Republicans look like confused, dishonest, unprofessional drama queens. Every night the news is pounding on this corrupt circus! Dems look poised, organized, professional and serious as a heart attack. In a close election this might just be enough to tip the scales in our favor.

He's going to be acquitted. He still very much could win again.

I don't see any damage being done to him.

going according to plan. A quick crow of "Neener! Neener!" followed by a vote to close down the proceedings and brush it all away is just not happening. The public is paying attention and public tide is turning against Trump.

The Bolton thing has really made Senators start thinking as well.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ileftthegop-republicans-leave-party_n_5e2f62d2c5b6d34ea103dd04

Thousands of Twitter users have embraced a new hashtag to share why they chose to abandon the Republican Party.

#ILeftTheGOP was among the top trending topics Monday on Twitter, as people gave a range of reasons and dates for their decisions to opt out of the party. Many cited the Republican Party’s nomination of Donald Trump for president or specific decisions made by Trump during his presidency as the stimulus for their departure.

Hopefully the sensible non-rabid conservatives will do the right thing and vote blue, unlike their spineless senators.
