They've got faked documents ready to go, that is the point. Also, drumpf will never let Bolton actually testify. He's got RussianRepug Roberts to stop it when he claims Executive Privilege. So they want "us" to be smeared with the lie that started this to hurt Biden and help get rid of sanctions on Russia (remember, this is a 2 part scheme) while they forestall any and all relevant witnesses. They might agree to lying witnesses, like Pompeo & Mulvaney, since they would stonewall the truth, but will never ever let Bolton or any probitive witness.
