I think it's time we add Speaker Pelosi and congressman Schiff's heads to Mt Rushmore.

I couldn’t be prouder of the intelligence, diligence and honor they have brought to the institution of our government and nation.

In the face of threats and scorn from the most powerful office in our nation they not only persevered but rose to reflect the real truth that shows what our nation can be in times of distress. Both of these national heroes will go down in history with accolades and honor.

Contrast this with what appear to be, at best misguided, and perhaps worse treasonous, republicans. Willfully obfuscating, dissembling and bald faced lies all in an effort to retain ill gotten powers that actually belong to the people whom they allege to represent. Callous disregard for law, truth and honorable behavior on the presidents part has shown them to be the ugliest form of sycophants. It is interesting that what serves as motivation for these republicans is a threat of their “heads on a pike” by their dear leader. Most of their heads belong on mug shots. Particularly Moscow Mitch’s. Perhaps that is yet to come for some of them.

Pelosi and Schiff have created a fortress of evidence and truth against this assault and battery of our constitution. As the impeachment trial plays out, the rational for honoring our democratic heroes who stood steadfast in the breach will become more evident, even to republicans.
