Hunter Biden would be a "political" witness if he testified.

He would not be able to add anything to the facts of the case. He has no first-hand information. He would be used for purely political reasons to take the focus off the charges against Donald J Trump

The trial is not a game. There are rules that must be followed, even if the Republicans choose to make it political. Hunter Biden is a distraction. The charges against him are nothing more than a rumor.

Still, with 51 votes, the Repubs can call him as a witness. It's that simple. But, it should be noted that he would be nothing more than a "political" witness.

then MF45 would have succeeded in getting exactly what he wanted from Zelinski. Actually he already got a great deal of it yesterday when his lawyers were allowed to introduce Russian talking points in to the public record on National TV in real time.

I actually have training and experience which benefited Burisma.

The only thing the trump family ivanka, don jr, eric ever contributed is the trump name.

He can only testify about his own career which has little to do with the pressure Trump put on the Ukrainians. The House team can make major points about that.

If there were actually crimes committed by Hunter or Joe Biden, the Democratic members of the Impeachment Inquiry and of the Senate can ask repeatedly why the Republicans never even asked for an investigation until Trump was under threat of impeachment.

I do not encourage that Hunter or Joe Biden be called as witnesses, but if the Republicans insist I think the House Impeachment Managers can make a big deal of it.

He sat on Burisma's board and collected a nice check (just like Joseph Cofer Black currently does).

What are Poroshenko and Shokin even alleging that he did? As a board member, what could he have done? Turn a blind eye?
