Have you noticed the difference in tone between Managers and Repub lawyers?

It illustrates the maxim, "If the law is not on your side, use the facts. If the facts are not on your side, use the law. If neither is on your side, pound the table." Dems have been remarkably even toned. Repubs have been nothing but indignant.

was saying that even though they were pretty measured in their speech patterns and all, they were basically doing just that, metaphorically pounding the table quietly instead of making any kind of a defense.
