Here's the thing

If you followed the House Hearings and the Impeachment Inquiry,, the Con's lawyers can't fool you. They keep repeating serious lies. Lots of debunked bullshit is being repeated here -for example the Solomon shit in The Hill.

if the Trump lawyers could be charged with a crime for lying to congress with all the lies they are telling.

Pocan said (as I recall) that no they couldn't be charged with anything for lying in an impeachment.

the corollary to this is, if one depends on Fox and similar outlets for information, the exact opposite applies.

Part of the problem, in my view, is that as newspaper readership slowly declines, far too many depend on social media and broadcast media for what they see as the facts. And given that the US media is overwhelmingly owned by the right wing, what is called truth and fact are often neither.
